The Celestial Zone is a science fiction comic that relates to the camaraderie and heart-stopping exploits of an extraordinary group of people during the tumultuous Warring States Era.

Living in a world of their own (in a place known as the Celestial Zone), the people worked on cultivating special powers beyond the comprehension of mere mortals like you and me.

Unfortunately, there is always the evil ones to fight the good guys and that's how the battle between the powers of good and evil began ....

It all begins when my second favourite heroine, Xing Ling (she is a mortal but reminds me of Lara Croft) was rescued by Wang Chan, the Lord of Mountain of Dream Cloud (he is really cool and smart like James Bond) and his senior, Xue Wu, two extraordinary young men from the Celestial Zone.

She learns that the Zone monsters are multiplying rapidly on Earth and throughout her journey she finds out how savage these monsters are.

The trio are joined by Wei Qi, a lad from the celestial realm who possesses superior skills in Chinese Chess; trainee physician, Danian Chuyi (who never ceases to amaze me with her Chinese herbs knowledge) and finally, my heroine, Chi Xue the Destroyer of Evil whose amazing powers are feared by all evil.

Throughout her journey, Chi Xue meets colourful evil beings like Jade Rabbit who hunts children, Long Brow, Xuan Tian Crow who really looks like a crow and the ultimate evil, Moon Monarch (who is cunning and smart).

This comic series is really action-packed all the way and I just can't wait to read what happens next. The present book (Book 14) seems to show that the evil side is winning when all the evil powers managed to penetrate the Dream Cloud defence system moving to its home at the peak.

I really can't wait for the coming books to be released. Will the author allow evil to win? I am not sure but I'll have to wait for the coming books. (I've been pestering the author for his next stories at his official website!)

Book 6 shows my favourite heroine, Chi Xue, on the cover.
